Hello All!

This week, Biola University will be visiting BYU for a couple of days of dialogue. Their group is big--42 students--so they will be coming two days. The two days will look essentially the same. Also, because their group is so big, we REALLY need you guys to show up and be here to talk to them. I think that they get really disappointed if there aren't very many BYU students to talk with, because that is one of the big reasons they come! SO, please pass this along to your friends and ask them to take a couple hours out of their "studying" to come and make friends with these students and to learn more about our brothers and sisters of the Evangelical tradition.

The schedule will look like this:
all events will take place in 382 JSB (note room changes for Thursday, from 11-1)
9:30 Welcome and kick-off
10:15 Presentation by Brother Millet and Pastor Greg Johnson.
11:00 Break
11:30 Lunch, first come, first serve; flowing nicely into...
1:00 Student roundtable discussions
4:30 pack up

On Thursday, Lunch will be in a room TBA (yes, that means I'll be sending you another email), and then at 1pm we'll be back in 382 JSB for the rest of the afternoon.

On Wednesday, from 6-9pm there will be a gathering at Kiwanis park. This is NOT sponsored by interfaith hosting, but would be a great opportunity to chill more with these cool people!

On Friday, at 7, there will be a hang out at Calvery Mountain View Church in American Fork. For directions, click here. This is unquestionably the best part of the week, where we get to just hang out with these awesome folks! Dinner and smoothies provided!

Also, thanks for your participation this semester; there will be a few groups coming in the summer, so keep checking your email and hopefully we'll see you around.

Once again, PLEASE invite your friends, roommates, girlfriend, boyfriend, FHE group, etc. to come participate in this excellent opportunity to become better friends with our brothers and sisters of the Evangelical tradition.

Thanks,
Kate
p.s. if you have any questions, please email interfaithhosting@gmail.com
p.p.s. You guys rock!

APU Visit, Tuesday April 7th

On Tuesday, April 7th, we will have the pleasure of a visit from Azusa Pacific University! I'm really excited for this visit; their team will have 7 students, and a professor and his wife. What a pleasure! The schedule will go a little like this:

**all events (except the devotional, of course) will be held in 3223 Wilk**
9:30 am Continental breakfast, welcome, and introductions
10:00 am Professors present.
10:50 am Devotional (call if you want to meet up with us)
12:10 pm Lunch, flowing nicely into dialogues
4:00 pm depart

I really need you guys to come! We really want to show these groups that this is important to us, and that means showing up to talk with them.

I especially need help in the morning; I have class and will be unable to be there until just before devotional. Please make an effort to be there between 9:30 and join us for devotional.

For the people that are new to dialogue, the presentation by the professors will be a great opportunity to see what dialogue is like--what the approach is, etc.

If you plan on joining us for lunch, you MUST RSVP to me by Friday morning. I will be making the order Friday.

Thanks for your help! This is looking to be a great team and a great experience!

ALSO! Gmail now thinks I'm a spammer, so please join this google group so that I can email all of you. Sorry for the hassle, but it's the only way I can think of to send out one large email. The link is: http://groups.google.com/group/byu-interfaith-hosting-program

Feel free to contact me with any questions, ideas, or concerns; also feel free to forward this email to friends you think may be interested--just remind them that they need to RSVP if they want food!

Thanks again,
Kate

this calendar contains all of the up-to-date info on events, and it goes right into your google calendar! (yes, I am a shameless promoter of google calendar)
